This document is presenting the product management strategy for the development of the ‘paid events’ feature inside Livestorm’s web app.

It is resuming the users’ requests, the product specifications, the user stories and a product UX vision as well as the technical requirements to develop the feature.

Addressed problem

Currently, Livestorm does not host a paid events feature. The only way around for users to host paid events is to rely on Zapier.

Despite the workaround with Zapier, it seems that users are still asking for the development of the feature. Some (42) requests also point out the fact that Zapier is not an ideal solution (difficulties to set up, price, security), for isnstance:

We had to use several app like our CRM and Zapier to do it so it always better if it's integrated in it.

I struggle to create a paid webinar with zapier which is also pretty expansive. I think this is an important feature that will bring you more clients also.

Doing paid webinars which is inbuilt in Livestorm... Quick switching between free registrations and paid registrations and bulk additions without using any third party apps like zapier.

I wish I had an easy time using livestorm but I am really struggling and wasting hours trying to figure out how to accept payments and use zapier.
